A Journey Built on Creativity & Experience Style:
With over 18 years of professional experience in Delhi and other metropolitan environments, Ashish Kumar Swain has worked across a diverserange of creative, corporate, institutional and government projects. His professional journey spans more than 2,500 projects, including major events and promotional activities for multinational organizations and government institutions. After years of working in the capital, Ashish returned to his native Odisha with a vision to approach creative projects differently and contribute to the development of Odisha’s tourism and event landscape through innovative and conceptual experiences.

Founded
After years of professional experience and working on diverse projects across India, Ashish decided to bring his creative vision back to Odisha, his native place. Driven by a desire to create innovative projects and contribute to Odisha’s tourism development in a conceptual way, he chose to take a different path.
He resigned from his position as a Creative Director and founded Wonder Events & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. on 4 August 2021, with the vision of delivering creative, innovative and out-of-the-box experiences.

A Corporate Leader with 20+ Years of Diverse Professional Experience
With over 20 years of rich professional experience, Asim Kumar Swain brings extensive expertise in marketing, sales, port operations, material management, commercial operations, finance, and business management.
He completed his B.Tech in Electrical Engineering in 2001 from a reputed Government Engineering College in Odisha. He subsequently built a distinguished corporate career with leading Steel PSUs and Tata Steel, gaining valuable experience in large-scale industrial operations and business management.
He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Materials Management (PGDMM) from the Indian Institute of Materials Management (IIMM) and is a Life Member of IIMM.
His experience across technical, commercial, and financial functions has equipped him with a strong combination of analytical thinking, operational leadership, strategic planning, and business acumen.
CORPORATE EXPERIENCE & EXPERTISE
Asim has held significant responsibilities in planning and material management for major turnkey projects in steel plants. His professional expertise encompasses procurement, commercial management, financial planning, project coordination, supply-chain operations, and strategic business management.
ROLE AT WONDER EVENTS
After a successful corporate career, Asim took the entrepreneurial path, leaving his management position at Tata Steel to join Wonder Events & Entertainment Pvt. Ltd. as a Director.
In his present role, he actively contributes to the company’s strategic growth and overall operations, with responsibilities spanning marketing, production, human resources, finance, and business development. His corporate experience and management expertise play an important role in strengthening operational efficiency and supporting the organization’s continued development.

Combining engineering knowledge with corporate leadership and entrepreneurial vision, Asim brings a disciplined, strategic, and results-oriented approach to the organization. His diverse experience and commitment to operational excellence contribute to the company’s growth and long-term business objectives.
